I bought this game because I saw Real Civil Engineer and The Spiffing Brit (separately) play it on Youtube, and it looked fun. It is fun, but I am bad at the game, and can't seem to get past floor 1. Part of it is RNG I'm sure, but I'm more sure it is my own lack of skill that is the main issue. I've tried using the farmer (when it shows up to be picked) with crops and such. I've tried the miner/geologist, with ore, big ore, golem, coal, the light bulb, etc. I've tried the card suits with the gambler. ...

So I'm trying to use Vanilla B Gone and Placeholder to farm out the 77 Guillotine victories, because after doing it 3 times unmodded myself and getting all the other achievements I didn't really feel like sinking an extra hundred hours into the game on repeat but wanted to 100% it. I am deep into the Endless Mode (around 30 payments). I have 2 Eldritch Creatures which already have +53, and 36 other symbols including the Witch I wish to remove, along with many different Items and Essences. However, the game crashes when I attempt to remove the Witch. Why does this happen, and can the underlying problem(s) be fixed?...
