A visual novel that puts you in the shoes of Ran Ibuki on her harrowing journey to find her beloved in a mysterious place. The story has murder mystery, supernatural and yuri elements to it and is not what it may seem at first, and the mysteries it poses are all very engaging. It masterfully sweeps you up in its atmosphere and is fiercely engaging as it gracefully moves between different emotions. The cast of characters is great all around and watching Ran grow as she interacts with them is a real pleasure to witness too. Her demeanour can be offputting at times but there are reasons for that. The story also covers interesting themes and poses interesting questions for one to ponder. The translation can be iffy in a few places, some weird phrasing here and there but that doesn't stop the vast majority of it from coming through clearly. The somewhat small soundtrack does a good job in getting you into the mood each scene needs and the art is great overall too. It was a fantastic time overall and a must read for fans of murder mysteries and yuri.

This game exceeded my expectations, I loved the storyline! I played it entirely on the Steam Deck however make sure to change the resolution to 1920 by 1080 to both the internal and external screen or you will only see a black screen. 10/10 ♥

Pros: Really fun, riveting story with memorable characters. Excellent writing. It was a wild emotional ride (in a good way), and the murder mystery elements add a thrilling vibe. The art is beautiful as well.

Cons: The game occasionally freezes when trying to access certain parts of the notebook, especially under the Terms section. Also, some text in the notebook appears prematurely or oddly formatted. I once saved the game and, upon reloading, was suddenly thrown into the middle of a different scenario (not the one in which I had saved). The English translation of the game has a lot of small typos and grammatical errors. They're noticeable but not bad enough to be immersion-breaking. The murder mystery elements are more like flavor text than a game mechanic, since the player doesn't need to actually solve anything themselves. There's really no way to fail at solving the mysteries. I guess the latter could be either a pro or a con, depending on what type of game experience you prefer.

Although the English text lacked polish, I would still highly recommend this VN, since the pros greatly outweigh the cons. The story is immersive and emotionally engaging.
