Best described as the car rug you played with as a kid, but transformed into a video game.

In Motor Town the objective is simply to complete jobs with various vehicles. There’s plenty of activities to get started with and many ways of tackling each one. Trucking one of the main activities and has been where I’ve sunk a vast majority of my playtime into, so I’ll give a rundown on it. You’ll first choose from a selection of different trucks each with their own unique characteristics. Some may be more versatile with off-roading capabilities, others will be equipped with more grunt and larger fuel tanks best suited for long hauls, whilst some on the cheaper side will be just enough to get the job done. Depending on what work you’re going for you might then find yourself selecting a trailer to either rent or buy. Different trailers carry different loads, and different loads will pay differing amounts based on the dynamic demand of each business within the 2 Korean islands where the game is based. Personally I love the supply and demand aspect of the game as it means all routes and loads have their place, rather than there being one singular “meta” go-to route and load.

After 20 hours playtime there’s so many activities I’ve yet to explore; taxi service, police, racing, wreckers and food delivery to name a few. Of the ones I have tried, not one has been uninteresting - even the most seemingly mundane jobs, like garbage collection, can have you hooked for hours on end. Your reward is coins, which can be spent on cars, motorbikes, go karts, vehicle mods, houses and you can even start a company with AI workers.

Having never tried singleplayer I can’t say much on it, but the multiplayer is great. There’s always at least a few 50+ player servers around and the community overall is welcoming to new players, with remarkably little toxicity too. No voice chat option for now though.

The game is ultimately a grind, so if grindy games aren’t your cup of tea then this probably isn’t what you’re looking for. But if you don’t mind a grind and have a passion for all things on wheels then this is just the game for you.

How to hook up trailer?

I just bought the FL1 and don't know how to hook up trailers, i've tried renting trailers and purchasing them from the trailer dealer, then reverse my FL1 into the hook but they don't attach? Is there a step I'm missing?

This game is exactly what I have been looking for a long time. Just existing in a virtual world, doing odd jobs in an interesting world and maybe engage in some activities. Because this is early access, it is not yet feature complete(from what I can judge). But, the driving is pretty fun and I am really enjoying it. The low poly art style is really endearing. But, I believe UI is still a work in progress, because it is very boring. I hope this game is really something, I can spend a long time I can.
