I also checked a playthrough from another player over at Youtube. The only noticeable difference between the Proton and Windows one is that movies currently do not display for Linux users. So things like the snowy train scene at the end, or the booting screens of tablets are "sound-only".
This is probably due to Proton not able to display certain video codecs. Should be pretty easy for you guys to fix though. As just switching to a different codec would be enough.
Maybe to commit the small required tinkering to make it 100% on Linux?
Yes, I was able to play the entire game using Proton Experimental. The only thing that didn't work as mentioned above were two of the movies in the very beginning and end.
Otherwise, I really really enjoyed myself with the demo on Linux :) Great time! Excited to purchase in the future :D
