The game is enjoyable and quite neat. yet it is ruined by the monetization!

The game is a lot of fun. It's my first fighting game, and the pay off is huge after the learning curve.

Solid enough that I bought it on PS5 and then again on PC once it went on sale. World Tour mode (the single player component) is both really fun and a great introduction to fighting games (along with the Modern controls).

Its a very fun game.
I like worldtour because you can make your own character and train with all the main characters so you can unlock theirs powers and combine them however you wish.

The multiplayer is very fun and hard sometimes but its a matter of time until i get good.


10/10 would recommend for ppl who enjoy fighting games

World Tour is great for a single-player experience

I've been playing MK for almost 8 years this was my first time trying a new fighting game besides Injustice and WOWWWWW this is a whole another world and I'm having so much fun! So many things to learn and content to enjoy.

I'm just going to throw this out there now, I'm relatively bad at fighting games, at least compared to the FGC who've been at these games for years. Going online spells almost certain doom for me. Though, despite this, I'm not SO terrible that I can still go into arcade mode on at least Medium and enjoy what I'm doing, and can actually feel accomplished.

I know the whole appeal of fighting games, especially over the past decade and a half or so, is going online and playing against other REAL people. I totally get it, support it, and I even partake in online matches from time to time to gauge how I'm doing (which always the same answer for me, not as good as other seasoned fighting game fans). Online is typically not for me though, and I'm perfectly fine at being labeled a "casual" fighting fan for not really going online much with these games.

From the single player perspective, I'm still loving the arcade mode of SF6. It keeps me coming back time and time again, and it actually DOES make me want to improve, get better, and still try to go online and try my luck. I love that they're still making individual character stories, and it's not always the same end boss for each character (much like SF4, which was my introduction to the more modern SF games before SF6 came out).

Though, I gotta say, world tour is definitely not my thing. I get what they're going for, trying to appeal to the non-fighting game fans by creating an open world map, allowing you to create an avatar, and making the main SF cast being NPC's that train you. I just couldn't get into it though, and if I wanted to play that sort of game, I'd just play any other style of game that was built to be like that.

The only other gripe I have was it's low pre-DLC starting roster. Only 15 characters to choose from, while some of the staples from the series, such as Elena, are delegated to being DLC characters. This kinda rubs me the wrong way. I get that you'll still be able to face these characters in terms of the arcade mode, but still. It's kinda weird.

If you're a casual fighting fan, like me, I'd still get this game. It's pretty good, and still has plenty to offer for those who find the online portion daunting like I do. The controls feel fluid and responsive, the graphics are REALLY good and smooth, and has an active community for those who DO want to get online.
