Happy New Year! 🎉 We hope you had a great start into 2025.

To kick off the year, we've just released a new patch which fixes the most reported issues.

Changelog:

Added online cache for navigation data to speed up loading time
Fixed a bug that caused buses to sporadically stop being repaired and remain on the lift forever
Fixed a bug where servicing tasks were sometimes not carried out and the buses could no longer be used
Fixed a bug that caused employees to stay in the same place forever and not move (this is usually caused by the path being blocked, e.g. by missing doors or blocked doors)
Fixed a bug that caused buses to stand at an angle on the parking space or their articulation to be twisted
Service centre lunch break is now saved correctly
Employees now distribute themselves better to free fridges / toilets / vending machines
Fixed a bug that caused buses to fly through the air (If this still occurs on existing routes, you have to edit and save the route once. The error will then no longer occur from the next day.)
Fixed problems with line construction after expanding the map
Fixed a bug that could cause the duration and length of a line to be displayed incorrectly
Fixed a bug that could cause problems when displaying airports
Positions of additional airports corrected
It is no longer possible to place adverts for commissioned journeys as there is a fixed number of passengers there
Advertising expenditure is now correctly included in the total expenditure
Fixed a bug that caused people to disappear during an evacuation
Fixed a bug that caused messages to be displayed as unread even though all messages had been read
PV panels are now correctly aligned with the sun again
Random events are no longer triggered that change the demand for hotels if you have no sightseeing bus lines
Fixed a bug that caused the interval for the rush hour to be set incorrectly when changing the timetable for a public service line
Fixed a bug where the name, colour and depot assignment of a hotel shuttle order could be reset
Corrected incorrect consumption values for e-buses
Improved translations

Question: External Depots

I see the option in research but I was wondering how the mechanic works. I’m relatively new to CBM. Can we turn them into a template of a main depot when we placed them on the map? Do we need to hire staff for them as well? And then transfer our buses over there from the main depot is possible? How is the size determined when they are placed? The tutorial is scarce on details so any help is appreciated. Thank you and happy new year everyone 🙏...

Copying simple bus repaint color codes across bus models

Is this possible to do without going into the paint shop and copying both hex strings every time you buy a new bus model and apply to a new repaint template for that bus model? I’m asking for simple repaints that only make use of the in-game tools (meaning not modded buses). Thanks for any help with this querry 🙏...

(Bug Report) External Depots/Main Depot

The following bugs were present during my playthroughs of CBM: -Mechanics can get stuck in a loop of driving a bus to the workshop if you are playing a save file for a while (workaround: delete and re-design the bugged parking lot space). This is quite a rare bug. -External Depots will have articulated bugs parked vertically sometimes (as opposed to parking horizontally like they should). Some annoyances

1. I have many of the contract routes in which I get paid for the route not the tickets. My ticket inspectors are fully researched and yet they still spend too much time "stressing themselves" on contract routes. The other thing I noticed is that they climb in skill very slowly compared to other positions. 2, When you sort buses by fuel they are not sorted properly. 3. Map coverage is super annoying past about 45 percent. Most of the routes I add to get the higher percentages do not make much money and...

New ideas for DLCs

I know that would make a big change to the game, but, due to the possibility of having some big maps with the respective research during the game, would it be too crazy to think on the possibility of having also trains added and maybe ferrys? I mean like a big DLC that would bring lot of new possibilities to the game....
