Is anyone else having an issue with Fantastic contraption where when you launch the game, it loads up the start screen, only the screen is entirely blue with no options to continue? I can hear the music play but beyond that there is only a light blue screen shown and i cant p[lay the game. Does anyone know how to resolve this? this is my favorite game from my childhood and would love to be able to play it again....

Played on flash for years. Glad to know the game will outlive that platform. Truly the greatest puzzle game I have ever played. This isn't some sokoban where you have to suss out the intended solution, or a Zachlike where you get some freedom for surprise, but are artificially constrained (and both those kinds of games can be really amazing!). In the flash version, you could create a fixed point through some simple bug method. as a kid, i always thought this was an awesome secret feature. has it been removed/fix on the steam release?

I bought the web version of this game a long time ago (Oct. 2008). I just tried to access it, but since Flash is dead, that's not possible. The site links to Steam now to play it. Is there a way to get a Steam key for my original purchase?
