We hope everyone is in good health during the pandemic period. Because of this process, we were also affected by the development of In Silence.
We are as sorry as you are for this situation. We experienced the difficulties of developing the project with 2 people in this process.

We have been working on the Winterland map for a long time and the feedback we received from you. We have prepared our new trailer, worked on 3 new modes, escape mechanic, key bindings, optimization, cheat protection etc... and plan to release In Silence as full version on Halloween

Hey everyone,

Now you can change push to talk key. On next updates, we gonna add keybinding system.

We tried to add new solutions for stuck on loading screen. Maybe this update will work on your computers.
Now you cannot see who is talking in game.
Codes' positions changed
A few spelling error fixed
Repairing, Item pick up-drop, trap sound volumes decreased
A few little bugs fixed

Don't forget to update your game. If your game version is not same with your friends, you cannot join same lobby.

Patch Notes v0.40

We are listening to you and trying to improve gameplay. We hope you will like the new mechanics.

* If the player count is more than 3, one of the survivors will be a "Guide" and lead the other survivors. "Guide" has a map system like rat
* You don't need to click mouse buttons to rotate the truck camera.
* When the Rake is stunned by a flashbang, it will not be able to see the radar for a few seconds.
* Some environment collision bugs have been fixed.
* Car repair time has been increased by 2 to 3 seconds.
* You now have 3 wrong code chances for the armory.
* Rake's body block has been removed.
* Survivors getting body blocked by the Rake has been removed.
* Rake will not get stuck on items. (battery, fuel can etc...)
* Rake's blur effect has been increased.
* Rematch button is now automatically active.
* New storm ambient sound added

1) Vivox Login Error

- This error usually means that your clock is out of sync with the game time.
Set your Windows clock to automatic and it should resolve the problem.

- Another player using your steam nickname and playing In Silence

- Your steam nickname has a space. For example, your nickname is "Test 1234", you have to remove space and it should be "Test1234". This is an issue and we gonna fix it soon

2) Crashing Suddenly

- Probably your cpu or i3 or lower or you have a memory problem. Check your task manager and close other programs.
- Don't turn off Vsync

- Disable any third-party tool you have installed on your PC along with Steam overlay and GeForce Experience overlay.

- Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select the game. Turn on “Max FPS Limit” and set the value to 30. This will lock the game at 30 FPS, reducing GPU load and the game will stop crashing randomly.

3) Stuck on loading screen

- If you are using VPN, you have to disable it

- Proxy Servers should be turned off

- Make sure that your antivirus program and the Windows Firewall protection isn’t blocking the game.

4) Crash at Startup

- The game doesn’t officially support Windows 7 and 8. If you want to play the game then you need to upgrade your OS to Windows 10.

- Right-click the game’s exe > Properties > Compatibility tab > check “Run This program as administrator” and hit apply.

- Your anti-virus/Windows Security might be blocking important games files. Either disable real-time protection or exclude the game’s install folder from it. After that, verify game files and the issue will be fixed.

- Could be missing Visual C++ Redistributables. Go your Steam Library > right-click In Silence> properties > Local Files tab > click “Browse Local Files”. Launch the game directly from the game’s exe and if you get an error similar to “vcruntime140_1.dll Was Not Found”, players need to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables both x86 and x64 versions.

5) Mic not working

- According to players, their mic stops working randomly while playing In Silence. This is a bug and we are aware of it. While it gets fixed, players can work around this issue by switching to the Windowed mode or restart the game

6) Disabled Multiplayer button

- Restart your internet connection

On this update, we changed the atmosphere of the map, added some information for newbie players and fixed a few bugs.

* New cold and windy atmosphere
* Decreased the blur effect of Rake
* New ambiance and sound effects.
* Timer warnings added.
* Tension sound effect added.
* While crouching and when you press the [Shift] key, you get up from and start running
* 00:30 seconds timer bug fixed.

Hey everyone!

We fixed a lot of things, changed some mechanics and added new options to game settings for better gameplay.

* Now survivors start next to the car.
* You can change blindness level of Rake (Check the game settings on lobby)
* Rake's running speed decreased
* Survivors walk more slowly when crouching
* Rake's camera effects changed. It is more clear now.
* The car's headlights are on now.
* New survivor movement speed settings added:1, 1.1x, 1.2x, 1.3x, 1.4x, 1.5x
* New time limit settings added: 15-20-25-30 minutes or No Limit
* Crouching bug fixed.
* Spinning bug fixed.
* Toy & Jack in the box sound effects fixed.
