Free Update Delayed by COVID-19

The bad news is our main dev has been out for over three weeks with COVID-19. The good news is he's doing much better, and we have a free update for Conqueror 940 AD coming in October. Originally, the update was planned for August. We are continuing to support Conqueror 940 AD, but the health of our team is our number one priority.

The plans for our upcoming update include new questlines involving the princesses, some significant audiovisual enhancements, and bug fixes. Stay tuned for more!

v1.0.8 Research Patch - July 30, 2021

Overhaul: We changed the formula for Food, Wood, Stone, and Iron income to be more accurate and make more sense in the resource increases.
Fixed: Dialogue where 300 stone was taken from a player without that much stone.
Fixed: Making a kingdom a vassal while they are sending troops to attack you no longer locks up the game.
Fixed: Club bottom price having an extra 0.
Changed: The Sign Post originally reported population incorrectly. Also, buffed research results from 10% to 25%.
Fixed: Building the wood house no longer breaks end-turn button.
Fixed: The Charm skill affects the speed of courting a lady just like kingdom relations now.
Changed: Altered BTR Text for tournaments to be clearer.

Note!: The update is currently PC only. Mac build is coming soon.

v1.0.7 Kingdom Patch - July 23, 2021

Fixed: Player will no longer get repeatedly attacked by the same kingdom every turn.
Fixed: Player getting attacked inconsistently.
Fixed: Player getting blindsided by kingdom attacks.
Updated: Updated dialogue to better reflect what is happening.
Updated: If player has no troops, kingdoms will now raid rather than pillage, making the player lose 25% of their resources rather than 100%.
Updated: Player no longer gets attacked by kingdoms that are a little unhappy. Now they are more likely to attack if they truly do not like you. More than 5 skulls.
Updated: Cleaned up grammar/spelling/inaccuracies issues with researches and building text.

Note!: The update is currently PC only. Mac build is coming soon.

Our forth weekly hotfix update is now available featuring a more tactical battle system (see notes below), bug fixes, balancing, and more! (Final petition fixes are to come.) Grab it now. Thank you all for your patience and support.

v1.0.5 Hotfix - April 30, 2021

Added: Each troop type now has another type it is strong against and another it is weak against. Strong means more damage dealt, and weak means less. Calvary > Archers > Infantry > Spearmen > Calvary ...and so on. (See the in-game encyclopedia for details.)
Added: You may now change a research field that is still at 0% progress.
Updated: Population caps are now higher.
Updated: Tax income is now lower.
Updated: When recruiting troops, stronger troops are now shown at the top instead of the bottom.
Fixed: Inaccurate trade adjustments.
Fixed: Trade prices sticking on last selected kingdom.
Fixed: Trade prices changing when switching away from a kingdom and switching back.
Fixed: Stalemates between certain troops.
Fixed: Text size increased for skills and trade tooltips.

Added: If you defend against bandits and lose, the amount of resources taken is reduced by how many bandits were killed
Added: Graphics setting to turn on/off vsync and limiting framerate
Fixed: End turn breaks when recruiting troops then immediately crafting to refill the armory

Updated: Brothel now unlocked under Town Hall 2 instead of Town Hall 3 (Trains charm skill)

v1.0.2 Hotfix - April 14, 2021

Updated: Made the Dashboard UI and skills tab (skills button) UI much larger
Updated: Doubled size of tool tips on dashboard
Updated: Barracks weapons and Armory weapons doubled in size
Updated: First 500 petitions updated and cleaned up
Updated: Doubled food cap for all granary researches and starting food cap
Fixed: Not enough manpower message no longer on timer, just click to make it disappear
Fixed: Conditions for dialogues to appear have been updated. Wont have a princess dialogue confess her love if you're married. (For updated dialogues)
Fixed: Resources in trade now show up in the correct order no matter the kingdom selected.
Fixed: Costs in trade should now be accurate (new games only, sorry but does not affect gameplay on older saves)
Fixed: Scroll when selecting kingdoms in trade has increased sensitivity

Added: Autosaves - for the active game, it will now save the last 5 turns in 5 autosaves so you can roll back to a previous day if things go sideways.
