La primera entrega de esta saga introdujo en su momento algunas mecánicas innovadoras en los géneros de espionaje/sigilo. A pesar de haber salido en 2002, continua siendo una experiencia interesante pero que no es para todos dada su jugabilidad algo burda (Para el estándar actual) a la que toma tiempo adaptarse. The controls are awful, the ai is broken and inconsistent. The game encourages you to take people out instead of sneaking by, yet you have to be 2 inches from them in order to do so, but their pathing is broken and they just turn at random 90 degree angles. Then the gunplay is terrible. Even hitting a stationary target it's insanely inaccurate, and yet there are several forced shooter sections and most of them aren't even clear, it just forces you to be spotted, so you think you did something wrong. it's almost never clear where you're supposed to go. Half the time when I boot up the game, the audio is just non-existent. If you reload a save from when you had night vision on you just can't see anything. I think I enjoyed maybe 3 of the missions I played?

I understand a game being old, but this one is just a miserable experience. i don't understand why people praise it so much
