Can you delete NPC actors in a scene?

In that "Sir! YES SIR!" scene, I want to delete all of those tiny soldiers and just have an empty barrack. Can that be done? I've tried selecting the soldiers and hitting LeftClick + CTRL (Delete object) in Lousy Level Editor, but nothing happens. I don't want those soldiers in the scene. HELP! The scene is pretty much useless for my needs with those soldiers in there.

YES, SIR! On the main menu, go to Scene Options (Film Clap Board) then go to the third page. There you'll see an option (7th one down) "No people in scenes" Check it and you're good to go, soldier.
