I don't think so. It is a bit confusing, but this is not the main page for this game - this page is for the occasional test version that pops up occasionally. If you go to the main page game, there is news from the Developer dated June 22, 2021, and the last update was in May - about 30 days ago or so. Plus the last few times I have gone there there is a Dev playing and broadcasting the play.

So I don't think it is abandoned at this point.

Not abandoned, but you should look at the game's actual forum and not the alpha/beta forum for updates
