English Steam Name Required?

So starting up the game, trying to play the alpha, why is it required for me to change my name to english in order to play? - first game i've played (including alpha and beta versions)..is it going to be like this or planning on changing that?

It wouldn't accept my name because of spaces...
Not changing it for every game I play just because of one game...

I was about to make a thread, it stopped me from playing because my name is 2 characters and the minimum is 3 characters.

Devs, i don't know what technical requirements are forcing this, but personally i don't really feel like changing my steam name because 1 game wants to be picky about it.

I've also never personally encountered this in another game on steam, either.

Same here, would love to try it but not willing to change my name outside of the game.

We have uploaded today, a patch that fixed that issue. We hope you will try the game now!

"fix of nickname issue, where players could not play because of their player name on steam had illegal characters or is too short / too long. Now players can change the character name at the login screen."

Hi having issues getting past this screen , ive changed my name , reinstalled the game and still not able to get to play the alpha ?
