Far more important to me, could a control be added to toggle reverse vertical mouse axis?

You can set your keyboard in QWERTY to fix this. I'm french so I use AZERTY most of the time, but I've defined the US language in my keyboard options in the Windows settings. Now I just hit Win+Space and I can change the input.

Valerof thank you for identifying this issue! We are looking into implementing a solution for this as soon as possible, especially for international keyboard support.
