An option to toggle it would be nice.
having glass lowers the amount of health you get from infusion, but it doesnt stop you from getting 9999 health in the end.
HP caps at 1k just with infusions or any HP increasing items.
Either way, I don't actually mind getting 1/10th an hp per enemy killed, but it capping at 1000 is trash. You already need to kill 10x as many enemies (or have 19 infusions to get 1 hp per kill), and at that point you're strong enough that it's probably not an issue to just let it stack to 9999.
Just because there's alternatives doesn't make me any less sad that the setting I had a blast with back in the old days isn't here this time for ??? reasons. You can say balancing but 500% damage ain't going to always save you from something that just comes out of nowhere and snipes you. Starting at 10% of your health is enough of a base handicap imho.
Hovever, if you have command enabled, we all know we'll get it like 1st or 2nd uncommon item. And after a couple of minutes, glass downside might as well not exist.
So i think it's better to keep it that way - you still can scale hp up to 1k with 1 infusion, and 1k (given you stacked evasion and armor) will be enough for entire run.
Also remember - we have barrier now, and it trivializes everything.
