Ignore the decimals, as the game rounds down when actually placing a marker (12.75 will read as just 12).

Thanks for clarifying, I was somewhat on the right track with the beats part but yeah didn't figured I should just multiply it by 4. xD
Is it possible, just by listening to the sound of the beats of a sound..., is it possible ('By Logic') to know the number of pickups that should be placed on 1 disc ? (Number of 'Pickups Beat')
