This game definitely deserves a sequel. With its array of good movement mechanics (basically the Super Mario 64 moveset with a few cool abilities) and its visually and sonically pleasing elements, the game has a lot to offer. However, I can see how some potential players might be put off by the lack of complexity in the level design, which is quite straightforward for a regular player (the speedrunning potential is still incredibly high tho).

The spin-off took the best from this entry and multiplied it, like, 10 times, but 4 hours to 100% is incredibly short. If it was at least half-sized as the original game, that would be the best 3D platformer I have played.
