Um... backpack size?
Hello, im very new to the game and its already annoying that the only way to go around is literally keeping my backpack empty so i can move at all -_- how is this normal? I cannot gatgher anything at all because im instantly full :S what the reason of gathering any item in the game if i have to throw it away? any way to upgrade the backpack or if there any mods out there to remove the dumb backpack limit?

It's to make you choose between items, returning with a haul, and prep before abyss. Go in light as you can with enough prep that you think is appropriate

If you're on hello abyss (tutorial basically) you'll want to just focus on learning basic mechanics and progressing the story as a lot of things are locked out that are in the other mode. I'd assume the weight limit increases in hello abyss, but i forget. In the other mode it can be increased by skills

Just start deep in abyss after the tuto end, it's nearly the end of season 1 or something like this? (I didn't watched nor read tbh). The game used to unlock deep in abyss after finishing tuto back then but they decided to make it unlocked from the start giving playing through hello abyss a sentiment of uselessness. I personnaly still enjoyed it 'cause it gave me the basics of the univers since I didn't knew the manga (only heard of but never took time to take a look) but it's pretty much useless to go through now that the main game is unlocked from start (only usefull for completionists).

Okay so had to start over the so called dumb tutorial because the game didnt inform me to buy a ton of sugar and salt to be able to cook literally anything -_- ran out of food eventually because that and got literally stuck cuz could not progress further.
Just rush everything, you only need to go straight to layer 2 seeker camp. You'll need maybe 2h~. Don't pick anything just go with some food and sell everything that is not equipement food or rope.
And tbh you can just skip it and go to main game, you'll only need tutorial for 100% achievments so you can rush it when you'll finish the game if you want. Main game is around 50h so you have plenty of time to do this.

You can cook eggs and tail meat without salt or sugar and those two are some of the most common items you can get. Eggs come from the birds that infinite spawn in some maps

Edit: Also bring miso sticks and Gintoko as those you can't get past the first layer.

look up a cheat engine script that lets you modify the backpack size, and never buy another backpack upgrade after setting it to some insanely high value like 400 million, said edit will persist through your save unless you buy a new backpack.
i have to agree at least in the hello abyss section, your backpack is so dinky you can't collect much. Feels like alot of it is pointless in that mode, be nice if we could i dunno give reg some stuff to carry, all in all enjoying it so far but lord... having to stop and figure out whats weighing me down is a pain. i'm 90% sure its the save balloons that are weighing me down. but honestly its kind of frustrating at the same time.
