2) when you play with mouse and keyboard and you have a second screen, the mouse pointer leaves the game (while looking around) and will be on the second screen.
Also, the game does not support French keyboard. I had to install "Qwerty" settings to play
UPDATE : I tried another time and it was ok. No BOSD. Just the keyboard thing to take care of :) (and I find the background blur ok :p)
thank you for the demo. The first impression is great, think that the game can become a lot and it will be great.
Unfortunately I had to stop after only 10 minutes ...
Please remove the background blur! It's like I don't have glasses and get a headache because the eyes try to focus on the surroundings.
The control in the menu takes some getting used to, but is ok in the long run.
Thanks for your feedback, we're looking at it and we'll try to fix it for the demo and for the full game.
Regarding the blur, you can go to the main menu -> settings -> quality and put the barr on the middle. That should deactivate the blur. We'll try to fix this.
Thanks!
Some feedback here:
- Jumping feels weird: I think is too high and too accelerated, but not wide enough when jumping while running.
- The BoxColliders are too big in comparison with the Object they belong to, and when falling over them there is a short "sliding" in mid air that doesn't feel right.
- If you fall (not jumping, just fall) when running, there is no falling animation, it just keeps playing the running animation.
- The Billboard effect of the 2D world icons (carrot fields, for instance) only rotates on the Y axis, and they look stretched when moving the camera up and down.
- I too agree on the blurry distance feedback.
I have played with mouse + keyboard, about that:
- You should allow the player to use the Mouse's left Button to perform actions, which by default is the E key. Moving the camera with the mouse and not being able to use the mouse buttons is kind of frustrating.
- You should show Mouse's cursor while in menus, and allow the player to use it to navigate them. They have big icons and everything says "you can click here", but you can't, and doesn't feel right.
- If using the mouse is not possible, at least let the player navigate with arrows. Feels more natural than using WASD.
- The best option would be to be able to use everything: WASD, arrows and mouse :D
- I assume that there will be one, but just in case. A screen with some list of objectives is a must in this kind of games.
I think thats all. As I said it looks great, and the footage at the end of the demo got me really curious.
Mucho ánimo con las siguientes dos semanas, y mucha suerte con el lanzamiento :)
And the controls feel very very awkward. Sometimes it is the mouse wheel to go through tabs, sometimes you press 1 and 2. Took me a bit to figure out how to even navigate the inventory. Have to agree with Efore above, not having a mouse in menus is very frustrating. Was quite shocked to see that even in the main menu there was no mouse. I know it is easier to port this to consoles if you restrict controls like that, but if you do a PC version please spend the extra bit of polish and give us propper PC controls.
Translations have some little issues or maybe got mixed up. On the grown fields the tooltip says to sow new crops in German but should be harvests the field.
- The controller guide shows the LB button to change tools, while in the actual game you press d-pad left and right. took me a while to learn this!
- The fishing minigame controls are a bit plain, too flat, as are the signs that tell you what to do next. I believe you could make them prettier and warmer, to go with the aesthetic of the game.
- Doesn't Koa jump a bit too high? I mean, it's useful, but I feel like I'm making Hulk jumps or I'm Son Goku, lol
What I tried about the game is great and left me wanting more, so I'll post a positive review and wait for relase date. thanks!
soo here is content from PM
But first, the game looks absolutely amazing, good job :)
i was using xbox controller on pc and i have problems with it. I couldn't run sometime, game not reponding when i press run key on controller, and you also have incorrectly drawn controls (tools change differently), with the keyboard without problems.
!! in general, I would pay more attention to control !!
.... jumping is a little weird, (especially when she runs and jumps)
maybe I would try to make like in game head in time (the dynamics of the jump), here is video :)

and when the koa has an ax in her hand,
the ax is in the wrong position :)
Thanks you for demo :)
