whoever designed half of the story mode stages needs to have a stern talking to. there is no way someone made world 6 stage 9 and thought to themselves, yeah lets get people to pay money for this.

I was thinking of reinstalling this game but have the devs released any patches that fix the minigames, like Monkey Target?

Many reviews here state that the gameplay is inferior to the original releases, but is that truly the case? Is it possibly just different, not necessarily worse? It's a bit hard to believe that Sega went through the trouble of remaking/remastering the original games and simply overlooked the most important aspect, the gameplay. This seems like a really nice package and it would be a shame to skip it....
