There are 2 things:
1. You may try to resolve the issue in that way: create a shortcut to the game, go to properties and modify it as "/Achilles.exe -dx11" - you should just add space and -dx11 at the end. This might help.

Updating my graphics card driver fixed the issue for me guys. My older driver was from September. FYI.

I have this problem too. Updating the graphics card driver did not fix it. The previous version of the game worked.

I started a whole new game two more times and it happens again. It looks like my save game file gets corrupted. Looks like I will have to uninstall this game.
