The difficulty is alright. Most enemies seem to either have good tells or predictable quick attacks, and I haven't met a non-boss enemy that didn't flinch out of its attack when hit (some bosses will flinch too). My biggest complaint is how finicky Greak's melee combo is. If you hit the attack button too soon or too late, it will cause a pause in his combo long enough for most enemies to counter attack.
The challenge is usually figuring out how to avoid attacks with all of the characters at once, or figuring out where to leave the ones you aren't controlling so they don't die and end the game while you're focused on fighting. They all do different things too, so there's puzzling out when to use each character and where to leave them while you're controlling another.
As The Grand Mugwump mentioned, our game combines puzzles, platforming, and combat. Once you find the additional characters, you will need to fight with all three of them simultaneously, alternating between them. To make the game more accessible, we added a setting in the main menu that makes inactive characters invulnerable to damage. If activated, you can focus solely on the main character during battles.
We've also introduced Azur Flowers scattered throughout the levels. By cooking an Azur Flower with other ingredients, you can create an Azur Infusion. If your character carries this infusion in their inventory, they will be revived once after dying.
Additionally, thank you, The Grand Mugwump, for your feedback regarding Greak's melee attack. We greatly appreciate your input and take your comments to heart as we strive to create a great gaming experience.
Sincerely,
The Navegante Team
