Sharing My 100% Base Game Save File
Update: The developers have since added a feature to skip to Basto instead if you lost your save file
Hiya, I've seen a lot of people (in here and on Discord) who said that they lost their save files probably because they last played the game before the April patch which included support for Steam Cloud Saves so I'm sharing my 100% save file for the base game (i.e., no Basto).

Save File
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/z35cax2dy2n436u/AACgEmd-J475KKFecDcHm9Wba?dl=0

You'll need to replace the Save folder found in the following location:

For Windows:
1. Windows key + R
2. Type in %appdata%
3. Go back one folder
4. Go to LocalLow/Something We Made/TOEM

For macOS:
1. Navigate to ~/Library/Logs/SomethingWeMade/TOEM

I think that you can also change the photos in there so you'd have them saved in the Steam Cloud. Hope this helps!

!!! you MVP, you! i had just about lost all hope of recovering my old cloud data and all my hours of achievement hunting, and i was seriously about to throw in the towel and just not play the free content. thank you for sharing!! i only replaced the save data files (the .json ones) so i got to keep my original photos which didn't get wiped.

startup and everything went great! there are probably a few in-game achievements that didn't update properly but so long as i get to play the new content then it's all good.

looking forward to finally playing the 3.0 update!

p.s. i have learned my lesson to create backups ( ╯□╰ )

for some reason, this isn't allowing me to have a 100% base game. it keeps ending up 55% and missing all pictures. no idea how to resolve this.
Sorry about that, I'm pretty unfamiliar with this stuff but I think the "steam_autocloud.vdf" file might be the culprit. It's possible that since the vdf file contains my account id while you're trying to launch it from your account, Steam tries to fetch your progress from the Cloud which replaces some stuff in your local folder and deletes all of the photos as well as the PhotoData.json file rather than doing the opposite.

I already deleted the vdf file from the Dropbox folder. Try replacing the Save folder again except for the "steam_autocloud.vdf" (you can also try deleting it) and let me know if that works.
