For me he accepted a picture from the animal album ("Snow Bird"). I think having a "title" might be the important part? It's unclear to me.

Yeah, you need to title the art in order for him to use it, I used a muddy one

Anyone know how to add a title on a steam deck? I can edit it and get to the ‘add title’ screen, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to actually write a title in…

I don't think you can, but an easy workaround is to snap a photo of an animal with the muddy camera and add it to the compendium. Then show that photo. There's pigeons right outside the gallery.

I discovered you can pull up the keyboard with steam+x
