(fixed?) Video keeps freezing randomly

sometimes the video just freezes, but the game still runs and takes inputs. I can hear it from the audio. when I try to put it in window mode it just crashes.
it happened maybe twice during the main story but way more during boss mode. any suggestions? only thing I saw was turning off VSync, but I never had that on.

Update: turning VSync on somehow got rid of the crashes

You're one person who actually got over the issue. For me it most often happened in the sewer area, and once I managed to Save without the video - the thumbnail for the save was upside down! But I don't think it ever froze on the other modes, and usually if the game didn't freeze after a few minutes it was good for awhile. None of the Hardcore attempts were stopped by this bug!

The same problem occurs occasionally. It has not been fixed.

yea it's mostly the sewer area it happened in as the guy before commented. I just meant i fixed it for myself by turning on VSync. that made the video not freeze anymore for me
