Is there a faster/easier way to get them? Particularly, a way to get the exact skill trees? A mod, some edit, etc.? I've tried the weapon build route, but now I want to go the fighter fleet route. I know fighters suck, because they don't benefit from any of the +damage skills (damage beyond a point isn't really necessary anyway), so I want superior numbers, but it's too much of a bother to try and "grind" out an uncreative+uncreative. I've recently tried making a shield build, but I notice I randomly just get 1shot. I'm not even sure what kills me, I don't see any projectiles or mines on the screen, but maybe I just miss them. I'm not against much higher leveled enemies either. What would explain this is if something small I wouldn't notice, like a plasma shot or beam or something, is ignoring my shields and just popping my very weak structure (no points in structure, because shield build). So, I am just curious if there's some rand...

how is this game compared to say star valour or starcom please

Random thought, but I like to think that every minute of gameplay is equivalent to one month of in-universe time. This means 12 Earth hours pass every second, a day every two seconds, a month every minute, and a year every 12 minutes. The seemingly rapid pace of combat, movement, and quest events makes a lot more sense with that kind of time equivalence (since that means combat is actually taking place over days, interplanetary movement over months, and wars/rebellions over years).
