Feature suggestion: "Undo"
Something that would be extremely helpful would be some kind of quick undo. Even if it was something that would just rewind the world about 4 seconds (and needs to be recharged for 4 seconds before using again). This would be helpful in those cases when you pushed a block too far and now you're forced to restart the level (because you pushed with tookee towards a wall, or because the block fell into a pit, etc.), and also in those levels with very tight timing. Or even if you accidentally destroyed a wooden block. This would make some of the later levels less frustrating

The tight timing can be mitigated by reducing the game speed, but accidentally pushing too far can't be mitigated.

Hi devs!

I played the original game in the Kongregate website, and I was excited to play the newer longer game. It's indeed better and more polished in every way.

Unfortunately, I almost didn't finish it, because some of the later levels were too tight, and because I couldn't see the solution for 4-19. (I had to look it up, it involves doing things in a very specific order while also having a relatively tight timing.)

I'm glad you added those accessibility/difficulty options in game. I reduced the game speed for those annoyingly difficult levels (oh, that corruption wall coming from the left was near-impossible otherwise). Thank you for that! Back in my childhood, I would enjoy playing the games with cheats. And doing so would help me learn the game mechanics and the level layout, so later I would be more prepared to play without cheats.

Anyway, I doubt "undo" will be implemented. I just wanted to say some nice words to you. :)

I remember reading that some of the recent Super Mario games would offer a star at the beginning of the level if you lose too many times. Maybe, just maybe, your game could suggest players to visit the difficulty settings in the similar case, after the player fails too many times. How many times is too many? I don't know.

Some people would instead argue that such difficult levels should be redesigned, so players won't get as much stuck and frustrated. And they... are not wrong. GMTK made a video about it as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2G84mU3WPaE

For instance, I wouldn't mind if the crumbling blocks were replaced by normal walls in 4-19. That would give me enough time to observe the new level conditions and think about my next steps. Then, if really needed, the harder versions of the levels could be kept as additional optional challenges.

These are just some ideas, some reflection, thinking about how some of those negative reviews could have instead be positive. Maybe a future update, maybe ideas for a future "director's cut" edition or something. Or maybe just ideas to be archived. Either way, still an amazing (first) game!

These are some cool ideas. Working on a modded chapter rn so might consider some of them. Might not work the best though because Im trying to make it tormentingly hard as possible.
