The Mac OS Update of the 28th of August WILL reset your save. (Windows not affected)

PLAYERS ON WINDOWS ARE NOT AFFECTED

MAC OS PLAYERS WHO DOWNLOADED THE GAME AFTER AUGUST 28TH ARE NOT AFFECTED

If you have been playing Milky Way Prince on Mac OS, the latest update will reset your saves.

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do, as we had to switch form a sandboxed version of the notarized app (notarization is required to run on Mac OS Catalina) to a non-sandboxed version, to support Steam achievements.

Unfortunately, sandboxing changes the relative paths of other files, such as save files.

But don't despair! If you want you can recover you old save files (even after you have updated), they are located in:

Library/Containers/com.santaragione.MWP/Data/Library/Application Support/com.santaragione.MWP/Saves

You should move these files to the new save location, found here:

Library/Application Support/com.santaragione.MWP/Saves

This applies both to the demo and the full game!

Hi there! I just finished my first playthrough, and not a single achievement unlocked :/ I'm on MacOS Big Sur. App ID 1302050, Build ID 5971584, Installed content updated: Sep 7, 2021.

Also, in chapter 6.2, after I went to the open door, all text disappeared from the text block, so I had to constantly check the log. It started at the moment when movement forward began: https://imgur.com/a/jkIj1Xq
