Unreal Engine crash error

As the title says, every time I try to select the character the game crashes, and an unreal engine window with an error message pops up which says:

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xffffffffffffffff

I've tried a variety of solutions without luck. Wondering if someone solved this.

I have the same problem. It ran the whole time without crashing and then after I completed the helicopter mission, it started and always after 10-20 minutes of playing. The error is always the same. Crap ...

I was actually able to resolve it by turning off frame generation. For me the issue was related to DLSS.

Once I did that, I didn't have another crash for the last 20 hours until I finished the game.
