there`s still some events to play for earn cars, still you can try your luck on ingame lottery

You do daily/weekly challenges, and Forzathon Live events to earn FP. You can use 250 FP to buy a Backstage Pass once a week. The Backstage Pass can be traded for any of the old festival cars at Horizon Backstage.

I'm not sure I've seen any of the festival cars on wheel spins but there are so many it's hard to keep track.

I'm not trying to be mean but that seems a little dumb. They should have them all on a monthly rotation for people that have missed them once the servers go offline.

It won't go offline for at least another 4 years. Even then, who knows.

Yea.

The majority of the cars in the game are available for purchase with credits in the Autoshow, and pretty much all of those (minus a small handful maybe) are also possible Wheelspin/Super Wheelspin prizes, so you'll get a lot of them randomly for free as you play the game. All of the former Playlist-exclusive cars are now available via Horizon Backstage. As Gone Oh said, you can buy a single Backstage Pass per week for 250 Forzathon points, which you can earn from both daily/weekly Forzathon tasks and the hourly Forzathon Live events. The Forzathon shop also has one hard-to-find car every week for 599 Forzathon Points. Besides all of those, there are a handful of other cars that are special prizes for certain Horizon Life tasks, such as playing the Eliminator or completing the stories in the game, as well as one or two that are rewards for completing the Star Card.
