The Medium is a very good horror game with the emphasis on the story. With both realistic and fantastic visuals, it's a real pleasure for the eyes.

Graphics and voice acting are superb. Especially monster designs and the 'other world' sceneries.

Gameplay elements are quite simple. A little bit of puzzling, some collectables and a few pretty scary stealth / chase scenes.

My only gripe with the gameplay itself where constantly changing camera angles during some of the monster chases. But this was only a small part of the game.

One other thing, not sure if it was my system or not: at times, audio during cut-scenes was occasionally very low volume, making it hard to hear what was being said. So best to enable dialog caption.

Finding all collectables wasn't too hard. Missed only one on my first play-though, but I do tend to play these games very thoroughly, hence the 10+ hours game time. It's a short game. Expect 7 to 8 hours for a normal run.

I liked the concept but I felt the game too short.

Visually beautiful setting and quite a few uneasy scenes. Great soundtrack.
