Come back in 5 more years. The main story is roughly 60% finished.

From what I've heard they had a poll about that a while back and for some reason most people want more excessive side scenes over a focus on finishing the story. I couldn't in all honesty tell you why, but I'm not exactly enthusiastic to fire up the game again just to read a few scenes I have zero interest in. Been waiting for the conclusion of the minotaur city arc for a minute.

i 200% agree. i honestly overall DONT like most of the sex scenes/ characters implemented for purely sex purposes because the whole game as a whole felt like it took a huge step back in diversity of content from CoC1 to focus on pretty standard stuff overall, but thats just me. so idrk why people want more of...not mediocrity but more of the same i guess.

Oh no it isn't just you. CoC2 is such a massive down step in diversity of content and what diverse content they have isn't great.
and I get part of it, cause they have to play by Patreon's rules and now Steam's too. So don't have crazy stuff like actual hellhounds or the ant princess again. But on the flip side, it feels like the team and writers don't really care for anything beyond the standard stuff and half-ass it.
I mean look at the corruption content. Four (possibly Five cause I don't have a save set up to see corrupt Ahmri) of those options have their actual corruption/transformation off screen. And two that are on screen are really. . simplified. Viviane's corruption has a good scene leading into it, but actual corruption? a single four sentence paragraph. Laiden's and Azzy? well they transform while they are in the pool and come out completely Bimbo so it is once again hand waved. Which from my understanding they plan on changing/removing that option cause it closes you off from an companion that way instead of making a work around.

Heh, yeah. They went from actual diversity to catering for a very small crowd. Very annoying. I could care less about most of their stupid new characters and would rather have more main story.

Why would they ever finish it when they can just continue to milk patreon gooners?

No patreon porn game will EVER be finished. It's counter-intuitive to making easy money for years on end.
