Hopely this could be solved somewhere in the future, i think the game would be very enjoyable to play on the steam deck.

I am running Elastomania on my Steam Deck without any issues. Did you try changing to different Proton versions? Did you bind a button to an enter key?

Any proton didn't helped but i changed the controller settings for the game a few times and the last one did the trick, played a bit, fun fun :)

Awesome, nice to hear it worked! :) Sorry I didn't reply to your early question I was sleeping. I didn't choose any other proton, cause it worked with the default one, but I thought that I started it first a long time ago, and maybe older proton was used due to that. Doesn't matter now anyway cause you figured it out. Have a good day! :)

edit: Also developer could try to make the game compatible with controllers, that would fix a lot of people's issues, Cause people can't get over the Profile menu because there's no ENTER binded to the controller by default.

Or they could at least make their own default profile in Steam Input settings, that way everyone who starts the game first time will use this controller profile by default, with ENTER binded to some button.

Thanks again fo telling me about it, i applied the proton trick on 'megarace 2' and managed to play the game as well! Just had to set the in game settings to keyboard and the steam controller settings for the game to keyboard emulation, other then that i had to restart the steam deck in order to start the game a second time after closing it.
