Movement problems - character can only move to the left
One of those two solutions should help:
1. uninstall VJoy (if you have it installed) and then restart the computer
2. go to Device Manager -> Human Interface Devices -> HID-compliant game controller -> and disable it

Movement mapped to motion sensors with DualShock4 on Linux
In Big Picture Mode, enable the controller in the settings page, open the game page, customize the controller, and map the D-pad to up/down/left/right on the keyboard.

Game gets stuck a few seconds after the "success" animation - unable to finish the level
Something is blocking the game from connecting to Steam. Most likely your firewall. In case of Comodo Firewall, check if it's not blocking helltaker.exe or unity crashhandler. You may also need to pull it out of isolation in Comodo's menu.

Game is displayed wrong - cut out parts of the screen or visible empty dialogue boxes
Game does not support your current screen resolution. Try different resolutions or adjust the game window manualy. Get as close as you can to 16:9 aspect ratio.
