Report a translation problem
I was really excited to play this game, and I still will give it a try because it looks great. But it's a disappointing inconvenience. And it must be something in this game, because I don't have the problem with any other game using my same setup. I hope it gets fixed at some point.
Sorry this isn't a great resolution.
And I will not get a third-party app to solve this as that's not a fix, that's a workaround for a bug. I truly hope they fix this soon.
Weirdly, the only thing that's changed since I previously played that game, other than the obvious plethora of Steam updates, is that I replaced my video card and switched from using a pair of DVI cables to connect the PC to the monitors to using a pair of displayport-to-hdmi cables.
Now I'm not sure why a change of monitor cables would make any difference, but it kinda makes me wish I could go back to using the DVI cables, if only to test the theory. It also makes me wonder what, if any, changes might have happened for the rest of you between the game working as intended and suddenly/randomly not.
