Super Alloy meteor shower's
This need's to be adjusted. You can't gather during storm you will die from impacts and when storm is over the first wave has already gone. When it's over you might have 30 seconds to gather them before they disappear. Please extend the time at least a few minutes so we have time to gather the needed resources. Thanks

I agree, but, that's been how the super-alloy showers go for quite a long time now. I got so tired of it that I tend to just place enough super-alloy mines to provide what I need fairly early on, and then stay indoors during the alloy showers.

I could do without them altogether, in late-game particularly they get more frequent, and by then I have all the alloy I need, and more... if it wasn't for the fact that you need the asteroid drops in the early game, I'd turn them off altogether in the 'customize' screen - but there's no way to allow them in early game but not late game. Maybe one day - I hope! :-)
Selenea and Prime offer opportunities for underwater collection. A couple pieces of food are still handy...

That said, I agree 100%, a few longer lasting deposits ( like other ores ) would be far more useful than the status quo.

True! Darn things can't hit you so hard when you're in the water. But I don't tend to do it unless I'm quite desperate for supply - it's SO irritating to be almost at a nice piece and it just disappears... AARrggh, lol! Just a little bit longer would sure be nice, alright... :-)

i would like to have a certain drone setting that also collect materials around the base , aka mining drones and collector drones
but you wont need the storms anymore (atleast on humble and prime) when you use the t3 miners for them
the most confusing thing i have with meteor showers : they come from allmost every direction and not from the same one
i hope the devs fix that aswell

Interesting... my meteor showers almost always come from the same direction, so no fixing needed there... go figure! Maybe it's got something to do with where your base is?

Have you tried building different places? The only place I got that was when I built in the middle of the big higher area just off where the pod lands, nearish to the iridium cave with the small sandfall... maybe that's where you are?

The only fix I myself need with the meteor showers is for them to Stop Happening _All_The_Time!!!_ in the later game... it's annoying.

I am not sure we will ever get anything that can collect stuff laying around though - it's been suggested before, and always has resulted in an 'almost certainly not' sort of answer if any... it would be nice, but I guess convicts don't rate such supplies from Sentinel... ;-)

what i mean is that these meteor showers fall down criss-cross not in streight lines from the same direction

Yep, that's what I thought you meant - like I said, I've only seen that kind of thing in one place, in the middle of the plains just outside the iridium cave with the light sandfalls across part of the mouth. I'm guessing your base must be somewhere near there?

I've only built there once - well, once and a half, really, when the meteorites started coming in from all directions again after I started a second build there I moved away pronto, and the rest of the games I've done on Prime I've always put my habitat in other locations, usually out where the middle of the lake will be, but I've also built in lots of other locations across Prime as well.

I will probably never build there again though, as I just don't like the meteors coming in from all directions as they did when I had my habitat centered there...
