I thought I reviewed this already but I guess I didn't.

One of my favourite games in the past few years. I love this and the first Hard West.

The system they use for this tactics game is highly rewarding. You know that feeling in X-COM when you stick a Ranger out in the middle of the field? And the aliens keep running up to them and your Ranger keeps chopping them down? This game's system gives you the same 'high' of that feeling. I'm hoping for more in the future and I hope other games can learn from this sort of "emotional reward" system for their tactic games which for me, was a constant joyful ride.

I picked this game up on a big sale, and am happy I did.
PRO. Interesting set of distinctive colorful characters. AA- production values, including a lot of very good voice acting. Immersive world and story. What I like most is the tactical combat innovation (innovation at least to me) of Bravado, meaning you get all your action points restored after a kill, which means you can go on wild kill streaks--indeed this is the key to success.
CON. The tactical combat is less precise in the sense that for example I moved a character closer to an enemy to get a closer shot (no range penalty), only to find out from there something block his view of the enemy so he couldn't shoot him. I have other tactical combat games that show you which can be hit from which point you move to. In this game the tactical combat is a bit simplified, but for some of you that may be fine because it's fun with less tactical micromanagement. Also, and I'm early in the game writing this as Steam has asked me whether I recommend the game, the characters have done some evil stuff, so while I find them interesting, I don't find them admirable.

Excellent turn-based shooter so far.
