You should check out Modus Interactive's library. He is a friend of mine, and his work has inspired mine in many ways. His game Respite 1.0 is extremely unique and is on steam, and his game Iketsuki rules.

Off the top of my head, I'd recommend Hypnagogia. It's free on itch.io and is very much in the same vein. Slightly different from this game but still worth mentioning, I'd also recommend Yume Nikki and its fangames (.flow, Yume 2kki, Deep Dreams, and so on) as well as the game Ib for a similar dreamlike vibe and good pixel art.

Funny you should say that. I always thought it was very similar to Sanguine Sanctum

i find this one cringy but its a similar game but the graphics are modern

There's something about these titles that hits on a different spot that I did not know I needed. Especially in an era where the powertrip AAA titles lost their interest. Here the world expects nothing, is content about itself - and there's a cetain comfort in that.

Grahically it is superb. The level of quality they did with the colors and lighting results in some very appealing visuals and the whole Lynchian world is simply perfect.

i HIGLY raccomand Lost in vivo at the moment is my favorite horror game so ..yeah play it !
