Extremely unlikely the "porting" would work because the Xbox360/PS3 are PowerPC processors. You can't reasonably take instructions from one processor and bring it to another one if you do not have the original source code.

That's why in the other thread, the solution was to emulate the entire PS3, which is ironically more straightforward than what the OP was doing.

Never knew about this exclusive DLC, this is interesting.

Not sure why valve would close a active albeit slow ( understandingly for a old game ) topic about porting something which obviously takes a long while to find out and make new findings.

Maybe if the OP is a newer date is fine ? ( never understood the close old Threads thing in forums )

That's just how it is, I don't get it either. Before I even clicked it (or read the 1st post), I knew it will be the same old "we're locking it to prevent confusion". Apparently, dates confuse people. It's like the mods are allergic to old threads. But opening a new thread should be fine, if the old one was locked for this reason.

I have just finished playing this game on Xbox 360 emulator Xenia. Works PERFECTLY fine. Really enjoyed having that DLC as a side thing to farm souls when I needed them and to have the whole experience feel complete.

Initially I thought I'd find using a controller to play Overlord annoying because I am so used to mouse+keyboard but it became natural very quickly.

So yeah, just throwing that out there as an option for people who want to try.

Interestingly enough, if I include my Xbox 360 save file into the PC version of the game, the DLC exclusive items remain on PC. The weapons, head gear for minions and of course the spell catalysts. Just not the arena itself.
