Missing Audio/Dialogue Bugs Megathread (Revised)
Hello. I'm going to compile various bugs and inconsistencies, mainly focusing on missing audio/dialogue, in an attempt to gather them all in one place, so Sara can hopefully fix them.

It's the only problem (other than the lack of a fullscreen display mode without the overlay) that holds this version back compared to previous ones, as the sound design is a strong point of this series.

This post contains as many bugs as I could find in a 100% playthrough, generally in chronological order, while comparing scenes with the 3DS version.
All of the audio works correctly for the 3DS edition, so comparing them is the only way to notice a lot of these issues.

Okay, this will take a while...Let's get started;

All internal monologues, and dialogue from characters such as the child spirits are crystal clear in this version, whereas previous versions had a slight ghostly echo applied to their voices. This added to the atmosphere, and I feel as if it applies to the audio mixing issues present in this release. However, this is more of a preference and not nearly as important as the missing SFX.

Minor issue unrelated to sound; descending stairways are missing shadows present in the 3DS version, therefore showing the seams where the tileset ends. The shadows served to obscure this.

Onwards to my findings in each chapter!

CHAPTER 1:

In the intro, when "All Present" respond to Yui, you can only hear Naomi's line. The same issue occurs when "The Girls" scream, you can only hear Naomi. And once again, when "All Present" gasp when they hear the door knocking, you only hear a single character. Finally, when "Everyone" screams as the floor opens, only Satoshi can be heard.

During the earthquake, the sound of the floor breaking open cuts itself short.

When they encounter the first corpse, Seiko's scream is cut off before it finishes.

Seiko attempting to pry open the window in the first room is missing its creaking sounds.

Naomi's shrieks when getting hit more than once by the ghost in the Infirmary are missing.

Naomi grabbing the bucket full of maggots is missing sound when she tips them all out.

During Wrong End 1, the sound of the scissors clanging against teeth is absent when Naomi's line says "*chortle* *choke*", though the snipping sound works just fine. In addition, another scissor noise is missing during "*gasp* *gurgle*". Finally, various sounds are missing when she removes her own tongue. Compare with 3DS version to hear the difference.

When Seiko attempts to say Naomi's name when hanging from the noose, a creaking rope SFX is missing.

CHAPTER 2:

After Yui reads the Heavenly Post at the beginning of Chapter 2, the door slam sound seems to be extremely quiet, to the point of being nearly inaudible. Same as the earthquake being very quiet not too long afterwards. Could this be a sign that some of the audio might not be missing, but too quiet to be heard? Ambience in general is much quieter in this version.

When Yoshiki picks up Kai Shimada's name tag in Chapter 2, Kai's voiceline cannot be heard, even though the backlog shows that it's supposed to have audio. This line worked correctly in the 3DS version.

10 seconds later, examining the door to the basement shows a lowercase B in the description. and the principals name is spelled as "Yanagibori" instead of "Yanagihori", and Heavenly Host is written as "Tenjin", which isn't consistent with other descriptions. Sorry for the nitpicking!

During Wrong End 1, the sounds of gravel being dumped on Yoshiki do not play correctly during his dialogue. Compare with 3DS version to hear the apparent difference.

During Wrong End 2, some of Yoshiki's gurgling lines at the end are missing some sort of gurgling blood SFX, though it's not very noticeable due to the voice actor's excellent performance!

When she sees the darkened stain in the lavatories, Ayumi's scream has odd behaviour, similar to Yoshiki's line restarting itself in Chapter 4 when she blows her nose on his shirt. In addition, when Naomi yells Seiko's name, it gets cut off by Ayumi's line.

When interacted with as she's wandering about aimlessly while possessed, Ayumi's laughter cuts off just a moment too soon.

A footstep sound is missing when the Gym Teacher makes his appearance.

Another footstep is missing when he bangs on the stall door. This bang sound is also missing entirely.

Yet another set of (softer) footsteps are missing when Ayumi shows up.

More gross blood gurgling sound effects are missing from Yoshiki's lines in Wrong End 3. Again, very hard to notice due to the VA's stellar performance.

When Ayumi has a nosebleed, the SFX used when she blows her nose is missing. Compare with 3DS version to hear the difference.

When Ayumi tells the child spirits they can rest peacefully after hearing the doll's words, the music suddenly blares for a second, instead of remaining silent as it should.

CHAPTER 3:

The very first part of the opening is missing the sound of running, and it is also missing all of Mitsuki's panting and coughing.

The sound effect of Yoshikazu sprinting at Fu kuroi is missing in both of their lines.

A slight blood spurting sound is missing when Fu kuroi screams after getting hit.

As Yoshikazu continues to hit Fu kuroi, during Mitsuki's whimpers, the hammer sounds aren't present, and the sound of her running away is also missing.

Here's a big one; When Mitsuki is running from Yoshikazu, as she reaches the door, footsteps and intense door banging SFX are both missing. The following *whimper* line is also missing all SFX, which sounded as if she charged into the door after banging it until it falls down, gets up, and then continues running. Compare with 3DS version to hear the difference.

The lightning strike just after this cuts off too soon.

Not audio related, but the CG of the walkway doesn't have the animated rainfall present in the 3DS version.

The ghostly voice asking for help from Naomi through her phone sounds too clear, whereas in the other versions, it sounds like it's actually coming through a phone. The same applies to Naomi's mother. In fact, one of the "Help me..." lines actually sounds as it should, but then it reverts back to the clear version. Odd.

When Naomi goes "Eek!" on the staircase, a nearly unnoticeable sound is missing, but it's so hard to tell, this one isn't much of an issue.

A nasty puke SFX is missing when Naomi falls down the stairs, though this sound is supposed to play just before she pukes. A sound is also missing when she spits afterwards. However, the second time she vomits works correctly. (Ew.)

When Satoshi is scared by the corpse, the sound of Yuka hitting the ground is missing.

During Wrong End 1, the Ryou's groaning at the beginning cuts off slightly too soon.

If Satoshi has the Scented Beads, a sound effect whilst Yuka blows her nose is missing.

Yuka's yell after Satoshi falls cuts off a millisecond too soon.

The sound of Satoshi impacting the ground after the fall has been changed compared to the previous version, but it happens after the fall, instead of during the line that says *thwtch*

Not audio related, but the newspaper that appears after resting in the Infirmary has squares instead of arrows in the margins. Symbols missing from the font data used in the game?

When Satoshi hears Ayumi scream from the infirmary, her voice sounds as if she is in the room with them, instead of slightly distant as it should be, thanks to an echo applied to the line in the 3DS version.

The music coming from the piano in the Music Room doesn't transition smoothly when you enter, and it also plays outside the Cursed Art Room, which wasn't the case in the 3DS version, as the art room is one floor above.

The door to the lavatory has an extremely quiet opening/closing sound, similar to the problem in Chapter 2.

The line that plays when you obtain Mika Naruse's name tag has been changed from "Chihaya...Nana....Please be okay....I'm sorry I'm so...useless..." to:

"Chihaya-chan.....Naana-chan....stay safe....I was a disappointing senior...I'm sorry..."

Generally, I think the previous text for this line was more appropriate, and consistent with the rest of the game's text. (Though the spelling of Naana is fine, as that was established as her nickname at another point in the series.)

In a similar fashion, Ryoko Fujiwara's name tag has another altered line. It was originally;

"Koito...Koito! Please, no...!" Whereas the new line reads as follows;

"Koi...to...Koito....,child like you....!"
Again, I feel as if the original 3DS text is much better.

Nao Takahashi's name tag has another altered line, stating that she wants to see somebody named "Kaorin" once again, but she means Kaori Kimura, her classmate.
The 3DS version has the name displayed correctly as "Kaori".

If you return to the Cursed Art room. and Kokuhaku starts chanting even when you don't speak with her, it curses your savegame and lingers throughout the entire second wing, except the stairwell. It follows you out into the walkway, and reloading your save doesn't stop her whispers. I even heard them throughout Wrong End 2. Scary...and kind of cool, but a bug nonetheless.
The ambience outside the music room seems to have a similar issue.

Speaking of Wrong End 2...Zero audio issues! Pleasant surprise. Though, the CG used isn't the same as the 3DS one, as it lacks the animated glow that Yuki had.

When Yuka mistakes Kizami for Satoshi, as she accuses him of lying, a rustling SFX is missing. Probably implied she was grabbing his shirt.

Kurosaki's first line is missing the SFX for footsteps as he's panting.

When Kizami stabs Kurosaki, the initial impact sound is missing.

Some movement sounds are missing from Kurosaki as he's screaming, and his voice doesn't grow distant when he's kicked into the pit as it does in the 3DS version.

Whilst speaking with Naho, as Satoshi recalls the charm, the sound that plays when the memory ends cuts off abruptly.

CHAPTER 4:

In the opening, when Seiko jumps on Yuu, her line cuts off a millisecond too soon.

Just as the CG leaves the screen, a small splashing sound is missing from Yuu's line.

Another splash sound is missing when he wonders how much longer Seiko will be.

Footsteps are missing when Mayu's mother starts speaking.

When Mayu says "Well, I've gotta run. Bye!", various sounds are missing. Like a bag being picked up(?), her footsteps towards a door, and then the door opening. However, the door closing SFX works fine afterwards. Compare with 3DS to hear the difference.

As Mayu says "Huh? Where am I?", a slight rustling sound is missing.

When Mayu discovers her scrap of the charm is gone, SFX of her patting herself down to find it is missing.

Whilst not specific to this moment, when the child spirits laugh as they enter the infirmary, the lack of a ghostly echo on their voices becomes more apparent, as the ambient laugh sounds spectral, whereas the dialogue box version that follows sounds clear.

When Seiko speaks to Satoshi, her voice lacks the echo present in the original.

Same as the previous chapter, Naomi's mother and the ghostly voice both lack the audio filter that made them sound like they were speaking through a phone.

Just before Satoshi gets the option to kick down the door in the lavatory, Naomi's line is missing various creaking rope and shuffling sounds.

As Satoshi leaves the lavatory after failing his attempt to save Naomi, Yuka's cries lack the echo effect that implied she wasn't nearby.

When Satoshi speaks to Tohko in the Infirmary for the first time, as she backs away, a thump sound is missing just before she screams.

During Wrong End 2, when Tohko charges at Satoshi, various SFX are missing. The impact of the stab, multiple footsteps, Satoshi's lines missing sounds that imply he was staggering as he reacts to the wound, plus lots of shuffling on the ground as he fades away. and the scissors falling on the ground as Tohko screams. Compare with 3DS version to hear these, as nearly every line has missing SFX.

On the Extra End route, when Tohko stabs Satoshi, the sound of the impact hitting Seiko's phone is missing.

When Satoshi asks Tohko where she got the scissors, the sound of him throwing them on the ground is missing.

After Yui crosses her makeshift door-bridge and it falls below, as her arm surges in pain, some rustling cloth noises are missing as she falls to a knee.

As Naomi asks Yui about adopting a cat, some page turning sounds are missing.

When Yoshiki mentions Yui's panda necklace, the sound him falling down is missing, and the sound of the punch was changed into more of an explosion than a punch! Honestly, this one made me laugh. Can it stay? >:D

Yui's memory of her students lacks the echo effect on their voices, as seen in the 3DS version.

For some reason, I could hear the TV static from the Custodian's Closet outside the stairwell in the East Wing, where the lavatories are. Similar to the ambience issue with the Music Room and Kokuhaku?

Kid Kurosaki's first line is missing the sound of him sprinting.

When Kidzami says that his box-cutter should do the trick, a sound of said item is missing.

When Kidzami takes the hamster, Kurosaki's line cuts off too early.

As Haruna arrives, a thump sound is missing.

A sound is missing when KIdzami says "Nothin'" and attempts to sheathe his box-cutter.

Hamster sounds are missing as Haruna yells at Kidzami.

Another thump is missing when Haruna calls Kidzami a dirtbag.

Various hamster and footstep sounds are missing when Kurosaki leaves.

As Haruna wonders why Kurosaki puts up with him, some thumping sounds are missing. Like she's walking away on stairs, or something?

When Yoshiki returns as Ayumi meets Naho once more, as he describes himself being struck in the noggin, the pain grunt at the end is missing a squeezing sound of some sort.

As the door opens at the end of that exchange with Naho, it is very quiet, same as the other chapters that feature this sound.

When Yoshiki opens the first tongue bag, the footstep sound of him staggering backwards is missing. Another sound is also missing when Ayumi takes a peek.

As Yoshiki and Ayumi return Tokiko's tongue, the CG used lacks the animated glow of the 3DS version. Though, the glow seems to work correctly on her during the Chapter 3 opening.

The sound of Naomi catching the Custodian's Key is missing.

Ayumi blowing her nose on Yoshiki's shirt cuts off her noises, and Yoshiki's reaction restarts itself for some reason.

When Yoshiki does mouth-to-mouth to bring Ayumi back, the sequence is oddly desynced, with his first line not completing and then playing once more afterwards, and the blowing sounds not playing correctly.
Sounds for Ayumi coughing up water are also missing.

When Yoshiki tries to shake Ayumi to wake her up when they return home, a shuffling sound is missing. Another sound is also supposed to play during the same line, right before the shuffling. Same issue when he tries to wake her up a second time.

As Yoshiki explores the empty hallway, the sound of the rain in the background is very quiet in comparison to the 3DS version, even as the text describes the thunder and rain "growing in intensity". Though, this applies to the generally quieter ambience in this version overall.

As the memory of the murders begins, when Ayumi asks why she cannot move, some shuffling noises are missing. Like she's tugging at the bindings.

A thumping sound is missing when Ayumi gasps as Yoshikazu moves towards her.

When Ayumi asks Yoshikazu to stop, just before he mentions her eyes, various sounds of Ayumi fidgeting are missing.

The sound of the blindfold tightening are absent during the line where Ayumi says she can't see.

During *frightened sobbing*, the binaural audio for Sachiko sobbing into the right ear is completely missing. Other whimpers from either Ryou or Tokiko are also absent. Only one child can be heard, when it should be three.

More fidgeting and shuffling is missing when Ayumi demands that Yoshikazu cut the ropes and free her.

As Ryou screams after Yoshikazu says "In order, okay?", chaotic shuffling and struggling sounds are missing.

More chaotic struggling sounds are missing during Tokiko's first screaming line. These noises were played in the left ear.

When Sachiko raises the scissors and giggles, Ayumi's next line is missing some panicked shuffling sounds. The final scream afterwards is also missing yet another set of shuffling sounds.

CHAPTER 5:

In the opening, Sachiko's very first giggling line is missing the sound of scissors opening and closing.

Kurosaki's first set of coughing and sputtering lacks some wet-sounding FX implying he was coughing up blood.

Subtle SFX seems to be missing from Kizami's line as he calls Kurosaki a coward.

As Yuka coughs just afterwards, the sound of her shuffling on the ground is missing.

(I started with Wrong End 3, so we'll loop back around after it's done.)
If Yuka ignores Sachiko and continues walking through the first building, as Kizami catches her and says they're going to visit a room Kurosaki wants them to visit, the sounds of his footsteps, and Yuka kicking and screaming as he drags her away are noticeably absent.

When Morishige says he is thirsty, the sound of him slumping against the wall and sitting down is missing.

Some footsteps are missing during Mayu's line of asking Shig to wait up.

A slight sound is missing when Morishige says he needs Mayu.

As he says "Damn... just once more." the sound of him rushing to take out his phone and then rapidly pushing beeping buttons is missing. More beeps are missing throughout his dialogue. Compare with 3DS version to hear the difference.

Lots of missing sounds as Shig breaks down. Mainly footsteps.

Shuffling sounds missing from Ayumi's line after she wakes up from the memory.
More sounds missing when Yoshiki tries to hold her still.

Ayumi's signature move, blowing her nose on Yoshiki's shirt! Once more, the *SNOOORK* SFX is absent.

When Ayumi texts Yoshiki to say she is feeling overwhelmed, the beeping sounds of her typing the text are missing. Same problem on the line that follows, and when she texts him again.

On the path toward Wrong End 3, when Ayumi finds Naomi's student ID, Yuka's first scream in the Science Lab is missing some thumping sounds. Fidgeting, maybe?

After Kizami is killed, when Sachiko walks into the Science Lab, Yoshikazu's yell before he charges Yuka is missing some strange sound at the end of the line, and the sound of him colliding with her is missing.
Also, Sachiko's sprite is lacking the glow of a spirit. Not sure if this a 'bug', but it is a difference compared to the 3DS one, and I don't know if it's intentional or not.
I only mention this because she was blue in Chapter 1 and 3.

When Satoshi says "It's pitch black, too...", the sounds of him feeling around in the darkness are missing.

During Taguchi's line "There! Right over there!", the sound of two footsteps are missing.

When Kibiki says "Are you all right?!", the sound of his sandal-wearing footsteps as he rushes to check on Taguchi are missing.
The following line from Taguchi is also missing some sounds at the beginning.

As Taguchi suddenly screams, some panicked movement sounds are missing.
His next scream is also missing the sound of him sprinting away.

When Kibiki wonders where the blanks are, the sounds of him looking for them on his person are missing.

As Ayumi says "But godda**it, how was I supposed to react?!", the sound of her slamming the ground is missing.

The CG of the walkway to the second wing is missing the animated rain on the sides.
Same issue as the last time this CG was used.

When Satoshi sees Kurosaki's body, the SFX of his panicked step backwards is missing.

Okay...this is the big one. Even with such a huge number of these details missing from the game, the scene where Morishige's fate is revealed desperately needs to be fixed. All of Shig's lines are missing their sound effects, and viewing this scene in either of the other versions of Repeated Fear will reveal just how much worse it is. Frantic footsteps, banging his head on the wall, glass shattering, you name it!
If I had to choose just one of these issues to fix from this sizeable list, it would probably be this one.

During the second tape featuring Kibiki and Naho, the entire scene is missing its sound effects, except for some lines at the end. Compare with 3DS version to hear the difference. Mostly door banging sounds.

After Naomi asks Satoshi if he still has his paper scrap, the sound of him taking it out of his pocket is missing.

In addition, the sound of Naomi patting herself down to find her piece of the charm is also missing.

During the long path that leads to Wrong End 3, when Ayumi says Naomi's scrap is safe and sound, the SFX of her patting the student ID at the end of her line is missing.

As Ayumi drops the scrap, a sound at the start of her line is missing. Though, the non-dialogue part of her dropping it works correctly.

When Ayumi says "FUNNY?!", the sound of her stomping on the ground once is missing.

When Ayumi burns Naomi's paper scrap, the sound as she clicks on a lighter is missing ("Maybe I'll just burn it, then. *click*").
An ember sound is also missing when she drops the scrap after burning it.

The sounds of her stomping out the embers are missing from a few lines afterwards. Compare with 3DS version to hear the (subtle) difference.

SFX for Satoshi picking up the envelope are missing.
The sound of him opening it and taking out the photograph are also missing.

When Naomi tries to comfort Satoshi, Seiko's voice lacks the echo from the original.

As Satoshi says "Dammit" four times, the sound effects of him slamming the ground three times are missing.

The sound of Ayumi dropping the stone she uses to kill Naomi is missing.
Okay, back to the beginning we go...

When Yoshiki notices the blood on Ayumi, her reaction is missing the sound of her feeling her clothing.

As Ayumi kneels down to pick up Naomi's student ID, the sound of this is missing.

During the flashback, when Satoshi says "Ack, that's hot!", some kind of movement sound is missing.

When Sachiko threatens Yuka, a spooky filter over her voice has been lost.

As Ayumi and Yoshiki are looking through the newspaper about the incident, her line that starts with "I dunno..." is missing the sound of a page turning.

When Yoshie's fate is revealed, Sachiko's second round of panting is missing the sound of her running.

After the Principal says "You saw everything, didn't you?" the SFX of Sachiko struggling are absent.
Multiple lines that follow are also missing constriction sounds.

Naho's 4th note is supposed to be unreadable, but the dialogue is crystal clear instead of muffled during the censored parts. Very easy to notice this issue compared to the 3DS version.

During Wrong End 2, as Yoshiki says "Let her go, you b*stard!", the sound of him hitting the Anatomical Model is missing.

An additional sound of him being punched back is also missing. Though, there are still audible punch sounds, just not all of them.

When Yoshikazu grabs Ayumi, the sounds of struggling are absent.

Various combat noises are missing as Yoshiki attacks the model, and each time the model knocks him back, a punch sound is missing. Difference is slight. Compare with 3DS version.

The sound of sizzling is missing as Yoshiki pants after burning the Anatomical Model.

When Ayumi hugs Yoshiki after he saves her, the sound of her falling on him is missing just as she starts sobbing into his shirt.

In the room with the ritual circle, when the door shuts after Yoshiki leaves, the sound of him banging on it is missing as he calls Ayumi's name.
Lots of door banging SFX are missing during the next handful of lines. Compare with 3DS version to hear the difference.

As Ayumi reacts to Yui's death, when Yoshiki says "We have to move!" the sound of shuffling is missing.

The Bug Pit timer is only 11 seconds, when it was 1 minute in the 3DS version. 30 seconds would be a good middle-ground.

When they witness the Principal throwing himself from the roof, the sound of his first scream cuts off abruptly.

As Satoshi opens Sachiko's tongue bag, the sound of him backing away is missing, and Naomi's gasp has been moved to her next line, instead of during his reaction.

During the memory, the Principal's wheezing is missing a wind-up of digging noises before he starts panting. (Not the same as the digging sounds before the dialogue begins.)

A slight shuffling sound is missing as Satoshi shows the contents of the tongue bag to Naomi.

The sound of a child's laughter in the background is missing as Satoshi first steps into the Bomb Shelter.

At the reveal of the Dissection Room, Satoshi's gasp is missing another surprised thump sound, and Naomi's simultaneous gasp is also missing.

When Yoshikazu finds Taguchi, the line where he roars is missing the sound of him whacking Taguchi with his hammer, and the body falling to the ground.

As Naomi wonders where Yoshikazu is taking Seiko, the sound of her footsteps are missing.

When Yoshiki says "...killing me off just yet! Oomph!" in the pit of bodies, the sound of his crawling is missing.

During Wrong End 7, the sound during the white flash as they escape cuts off abruptly.

During Wrong End 7, the sound of Yuka jumping on Satoshi's bed is missing.

During Wrong End 7, a goofy bouncy ball noise when Seiko greets Naomi is missing.

When the whole group enters the room where Sachiko is buried, the red glow coming from her grave is missing.

During Wrong End 4, when Satoshi says "Naomi!! Where are you?!", the sound of running is missing.
Same thing when Yuka is panting.
And again when Satoshi asks Yuka "...What's wrong?"

After the offerings have been made, as Sachiko says "Who...?", her portrait is not on the screen as it was in the 3DS version.

During the Extra End, as Satoshi says "We made it!" and mentions climbing the fence, only Ayumi's response can be heard, instead of the entire group. Strangely, this exact line works flawlessly in the True End path.

The red glow coming from Naomi is also absent.

Some shuffling sounds are missing when Yuka falls to the ground after trying to save Satoshi.

During Yuka's *cough* *hack* *splutter* line, SFX akin to coughing up blood is missing.
Same thing when she coughs again afterwards.

The white flash sound cuts off too quickly, same as before.

This one's fairly major;
When Naomi is watching Taguchi's footage, as he is saying "These records will serve to validate my existen--", his line is supposed to be interrupted by Seiko's scream, but her line is completely absent. I suppose her voice was treated as a sound effect, and wasn't mixed back into Taguchi's line.

During the final farewell, as Naomi shows Satoshi the text message, when she says "Here." the sound of two phone beeps are missing.
The single beep during Satoshi's line works correctly, however.

EXCHAP 1:

At the end of the chapter, the kindly spirits glow is missing from within the stall. In the 3DS version, you can see it through the door. Similar to Sachiko's red glow being absent in Chapter 5.

EXCHAP 2:

When Kizami examines the phone, the sound of Morishige snatching it from his hands is missing during his "Th-That's quite alright!" line.

EXCHAP 3:

The very first line is missing the sound of Ayumi knocking on the door.

EXCHAP 4:

The very first line is missing a beep of confirmation coming from the game Katayama is playing.

More game noises are missing when Katayama says "Of course we haven't forgotten."

An option selecting noise is also missing when Ohkawa says "Ah! Ryosuke, what the hell?"
The line that plays next also has more game noises missing.

As Fu kuroi is trying out the game, and Kurosaki is commentating, the sounds of him scrolling through characters is missing.

When Ohkawa says "Whoa!" after Fu kuroi chooses, another game noise is missing.

EXCHAP 5:

The sound of the door opening at the very beginning is extremely quiet.
Same thing when Yoshiki turns up.
The ambience being too quiet is an issue throughout the game, I think.

EXCHAP 7:

The very first line from Kibiki is missing the sound of him knocking on the door.

EXCHAP 9:

At the end, when Morishige falls and says "OWW!! What the hell was that?!" the sound of a heavy thump is missing.

EXCHAP 10:

The very first line is missing the sound of Yuka rapidly ascending the stairs.

EXCHAP 12:

At the beginning, when Taguchi is re-watching the footage of himself and Kibiki, the recording is missing the sound effects that also weren't present in Chapter 5's version of the video.

-FIN-

Well, what an ordeal.

This took me far too long to finish, but it's done...

My descriptions of the sounds aren't the best, but it should help narrow it down a little.

I probably shouldn't hold out hope for a patch, but I did my part! Hopefully, these problems can be solved at some point in the future.

I don't know if Sara has moved on to other titles, or if she still wants to come back and fix these issues, so this entire effort might be futile, but... I still had fun compiling all of these bugs. Made my playthrough a little more involved, considering I'd already gone through the other versions.

Thanks for reading this absurdly long thread. If anybody made it this far, take this blood-soaked cookie! Have a good day! ^.^

You should check out my posts in the main bug thread, I definitely encountered plenty, mostly volume issues in the newly voiced episodes (the ones from 3DS), as well as some lines that straight up had no audio (one occuring in like episode 1), which might have either been an oversight in recording, or it might exist and was just not implemented.

At last, I've finally finished it. Every single bug and inconsistency I could find.

I spent WAY too long putting this together. Think I need a sanity check after replaying the scenes of this game over and over between versions, listening for errors.

I don't expect anyone to actually read this giant mess of a thread, but if by any chance, the developer comes back and tries to fix these problems, it should hopefully be of use!

Wow, you pointed out a lot of things! It's definitely been a while since I played so I didn't notice most of these :( but hopefully a developer can have this open in another tab while modifying the code! I liked the bit where you asked if the explosion sound could stay lol
