Unskippable(?) Intro

This sounds like a weird issue to bring up, but here we go.

For whatever reason, I am unable to skip the introduction of the game nearly every time I boot it up. Also, the likelihood of my controller working during one of these boots is so slim that it is absurd. You would think the developers would iron out an issue as simple as the introduction of the game being skippable.

Whenever I can skip the intro, my controller will work as intended. But, how come it is so inconsistent? Some days, I can play with my controller and others, just have to play with the keyboard ON TOP OF HAVING TO WAIT FOR THE INTRODUCTION TO FINISH. This kind of issue really should be addressed, but I doubt it ever will be.

I assume nobody will really get to this feedback since the game is too obscure, but just want to add I can seem to somewhat consistently get my controller to work if I just wait out the intro twice.

So far, it has worked every time, but it is still obnoxious to have to basically wait ten minutes the game to actually play it the way I want to. Five minutes if I do not mind just using keyboard, but it is a game more designed toward controller, so I will of course use one.

I was always able to skip the intro. Either the game doesn't recognize your controller or the controller may be faulty(?).

One thing a bit awkward is that sometimes, skipping the intro cuts the main menu music.
