Release and controller support?

Any word on the 1.0 release, and the accompanying controller support? I though it was supposed to be very soon. I will pick this up now in the sale (as will others I suspect), if there is a date on this.

We are also unable to confirm a release date at this time. This is because the publisher has encountered a number of problems with the game console port. However, the controller support is fully implemented already, but we are not able to release it yet due to the publisher's overall release strategy.

Oh, and if you do need the controller support right away, We can provide you (and anybody who want to play with controller) with a Playtest key. In exchange, we would appreciate if you could give us some feedback on the controller experience. Just send the email to me at supernature.game@gmail.com. Thanks very much.

I want to purchase this for steam deck but not sure..

Apparently the full details of what the 1.0 update will include, will be released on the 26th alongside 1.0. I am in exactly the same position, waiting to pick this up for the steam deck once there is solid controller support. I recommend checking back in a couple of days time, and we will hopefully know more then.
Also, the current sale runs until October 7th, so the discount will still be available by the time the controller support is confirmed included/absent.
