I recently finished First Snow, and wrote a 2800 word review/critical analysis of its structure and execution, which I thought might interest some people.

Overall, I found First Snow to be a perfectly charming and wholesome love story. But while I liked it, I didn’t LOVE it. The script is patchy, and at times, suffers from a clumsy narrative, lack of humour, and bland prose style. While the presentation of the VN is exceptional, its lack of strong, true emotions also castrates its impact and weakens its message profoundly.
