I've been playing with an audio mix spread of 50-100-50 or so for sfx/music/ambience and the musical tracks seem incredibly quiet, muffled, or just EQ'd out of existence at most points in the game. Which is a real shame, since I actually like most of this game's tracks when listening to them standalone in lossless formats.

Is there any method to make the game's music volume much louder than it is? I was listening to Enoch's theme for the first time in full today and it actually upset me given how much i was digging it because, despite fighting him like 5 times, I've never heard more than the first 5 seconds of it before the boss intro ends. Even at my current audio settings spread, the songs feel like they're at a volume I would set so I could drown it out with a podcast or something similar.
