Second, much better and an incredible game.

If you have the money buy both and play them in order.

I still like the original, there was a more distilled quality to it that the sequel tries to reach but falls slightly short on. Both are phenomenal games for their own reasons though and 2 has more replayability thanks to the NG+ system and a boatload of modifier options.

I remember playing 1 on the vita and loving it
so i bought 2 on steam early access when there was only 1 boss
when it went to around the 4 boss mark, i put in 100 hours and it felt complete

i love that they added so much more- but i just never had the desire to put another 100 hours in, which is totally possible based on whats left

i also wonder what they will do next because i dont think this game works in 3d. dark souls is trash for me (its just trial and error with jump scares). i kinda like monster hunter and its clones- God eater is fun- but i dont want RL to go down that route
