the summons die but you can re-summon them.

it's a festival of the champions. you're meant to use the summons for the fight. you can do it the hard way and go solo if you want. but its a gimmick fight.

ive been doing that but after a while they no longer appear and then radahn just kills me with his rocks

They effectively reappear for a number of times and it's not the same for every summons. For that fight try to stay behind him and not to far away so he won't spam you with rock sling. BTW, you should be around level 60 for that fight.

im level 51 do you have any recommendations for rune farming so i can get to level 60

i apologize to tell you but a hefty amount of it comes down to mechanical skill, but build and stats play a part just keep trying and memorize patterns openings trust
