I don't think the upgrade you need is precisely in a video game.
elden ring already has a plethora of them in the form of spirit summons, npc summons, being able to leave a boss and go exploring for many hours level up and upgrade your gear to make the boss easier ect ect
do i care? no. no i don't. couldn't care less if someone uses multiple summons and sits back spamming spells to kill a boss.
ill play how i want (hard and un-optimal to add more challenge lol) others can play how they want.
