Exactly, the armor in this games are not worth a damn, its not the armor that makes a tank in this game its SHIELDS, specifically GREAT SHIELDS.

Armor is basically useless, go test it in an enemy, a hit that does 80% of your health will do like 70% of your health with the biggest armor, its a joke, you will essentially still be two shotted and this has been since the base game.

It's ridiculous I know but thats one of the bad designed aspects of the game, Im sure its on purpose so the game keeps being "hard" even if you gear and build to wear this armor but it is still bad design even if on purpose because it makes their existance pointless.

You want to tank and endure: equip a great shield.

Open menu. Swap details on right. Now you can see what armor is doing for you.

I'd rather get OHKO'd while looking fabulous, than survive while looking like a complete idiot.

OP you are correct armor is worthless.

After doing the final boss of the dlc 90% naked and then putting on some decent armor I went from being one shot to being able to take up to 5 hits, no idea what kind of armor you're rocking
