New Patch To Optimize Save Systems

Greetings fellow Nysians,

Patch 0.1.0181 is here! Since we launched two weeks ago, our focus has remained on responding to audience feedback on balance, optimization, performance and most importantly, resolving issues with some players save game files disappearing. We’re continuing our efforts to provide regular patches/hotfixes for the issues you’re reporting and soon, we’ll be sharing our plans for our future roadmap. How to install a Patch on Steam:
Click on Library to see your games list
Click Downloads at the bottom of the Library window
If the new build does not download automatically, click the Download Now button to manually download the new update.

Influence Areas

This could be a good game, but the influence areas of the buildings are....................how should i say it............annoying. They are to small, espacially the stockhouses. Does anybody know a way to disable it or reemove it?

Save File Fix

Greetings, Nysians!

We have released a new update today that changes the ways save files are made.

The focus is fixing the issues people are having with singleplayer saves, as well as improving multiplayer’s save functionality.

When you now start a new game, you will be asked right away to name your save file at the province select screen, resulting in a save file being created as soon as you load into your chosen province. This new method of saving should prevent new save files from disappearing. We have also turned autosaving back on and these will be nested under newly created saves.

Thank you so much for your patience while we worked to solve these issues. Our dedicated team is continuing to work on other bugs and issues you have reported and we should have more news to share in the coming weeks.

Greetings fellow Nysians,

Thanks for your ongoing support to help us diagnose the issues around the autosave bugs experienced by some players. It is greatly appreciated.

Today, we’ve rolled out a patch that disables autosaves for all players and another fix to potentially resolve disappearing saves. This is our highest priority and we continue to work on a permanent solution to resolve these issues.

We’re expecting to release a patch with a permanent solution in the coming days, and advise players to manually save their progress when they begin playing and before exiting the game in the meantime.

For affected players, any detail you can share with us on Discord would be much appreciated. Please note that lost saved data may not be possible to restore.

Laborers needs are just impossible.

I have to use 7 different caravans to import wheat from other province which is full of wheat farms to produce meals and beer. I have to get fish from other provinces, make furniture from planks, and make iron tools which are also created from resource which is not in starting province and is also not infinite (i guess?). Seriously its better to just ignore Laborers and get money from farmers....

Heavy lies the early access

Thrive: Heavy Lies the Crown is an interesting take on the medieval city builder/management genre. While the bones of the game are based on tried-and-true management mechanics, the game offers a little bit of fantasy tied in with, fighting mechanics for sieging, conquering, trading with other lands. With the developers consistently putting out patches for bug fixes and working on new content I am excited for what is to come. One thing I would like to see, however, is an early access road map for all the upcoming features.

Key Features:

✅Impactful choice system
✅Large map size to build on
❌Buggy (no game breaking bugs so far)
❌Could use some UI improvements

If it wern't for the game breaking bugs, I'd love the game. Get more than one settlement (which is essential for progress) and it just breaks, every single time. 12 + hours but thats about 8 attempts to make it work:
Trade routes break
Builders just stop working
wood cutters stop working
constant revolts even when needs are fully met
Fires just take over too quickly and far too often
All i seem to build is food and material piles as the area effect is junk

Give it time and hopefully the devs will fix it, or the modders

Closest game I played to this was Stronghold series, this game is very fun but needs work.

Currently it is a 6/10 at least for me in Singleplayer so far, I've not had the chance to play Multiplayer but I imagine that is a tonne of fun playing against some friends maybe. This game has a lot of bugs currently as is expected but maybe a few that should not have even made it to this stage of the game but in the game's discord there is communication with the community at least, the game has a lot of potential.

Buildings pausing production?

My economy keeps grinding to a halt as The Hemp farms are getting to 100% and then pausing production, the animation continues but they do not complete a full production cycle causing my economy to freeze as I cannot produce hemp clothes or rope. I have plenty of Stockpiles and 0/1700 available storage for hemp, I have deleted and replaced the farms and the same issue occurs. Any help is greatly appreciated....
