Amazing game, with great graphics. Love driving around and looking at dinos. Helicopters are also very fun to ride in, in this game.

This is much better than it at first seems. But not for everyone. Maybe not even for JWE1 fans as its very different.
Its not as fun or 'arcadey' as the first game and it def regressive in some areas but it does progress in others. The dinos and animations and landscape and tools are better than ever.
But the campaign is super short with boring stories which reflect the increasingly poor films.
And they still havent nailed the first person aspects and the lack of Multiplayer in 2024 is criminal.

The campaign is cut into 3 parts and you have to pay another 30 for them both lol
And though they are interesting theyre not very exciting or well written. Very by the numbers and more of the same.

On top of all the dlc ...and there's a lot of them. This is one of those games you have to REALLY want to play even though a cheaper often more fun version already exists. I would say JWE2 is more of a 1.5 instead of a true 2.0 sequel. The game does feel like dlc at times but it's good dlc and if you love dinos and have money then this is a dream come true in many ways.

Some of the voice actors are from the film but also some are stand ins such as Owen / Chris Pratt but it doesnt matter as the story is so bland though Claire is excellent as she was in the last game.

Be warned I've yet to have anything exciting happen and im on the third paid campaign. The last game has a lot going on... maybe too much but the sequel is very very slow. Nothing has broken free, no one has sabotaged me and everything just kind of goes smoothly.

Maybe the challenge modes are more exciting but ive yet to try.
Also you wont be building a theme park for 99% of the scripted game.
You're literally building surfari parks but with almost no customisation or character and dont wast your time being fancy as each mission ends quickly and nothing carries over.

BUT some how its still very chill and rewarding and ok.
I wish they could combine the two games together and just let us have fun free from the franchise. Theyre both a little janky but there are many mods out there to try. Maybe that's what jwe3 will be in 2025. Id love to the see the first person and actual dino interaction developed and to be able to go into the buildings be cool and way more small customisation and mp would make it perfect. And why not a make your own dino option!?
